Last season we encouraged more members to play bowls socially and had Roll-Up sessions on Wednesday and Friday afternoons from around 2pm onwards.

Some of them had a theme and proved to be quite popular.

So let's do them again - Margaret Robertson and David Town have come up with the first of the themed sessions.

Bring your own Drinks and Food

Even if you do not plan to bowl you are welcome to come and join the fun - the more the merrier!

Feel free to wear any madcap attire that is appropriate to the occasion

Come rain or shine we can shelter in the marquee and enjoy a Chat and Food and Drink

For those of you not familiar with the Roll-Up format. The aim is to enjoy friendly non-competitive bowls where you play with whoever turns up. The first to arrive 'start the ball rolling' with a group of up to five and as others come they split into two groups of up to four. That continues until we have five groups on the green after which it gets a bit crowded! So any further joiners need to 'hover' until a group decide to have a break.
