Singles Knockout Summer Handicap Trophy

 

• This is an early announcement for a new competition we’re launching to run throughout the summer in 2026.

 

• To make the event fair, and hopefully more interesting to all, we will endeavour to handicap all players giving chalk starts to the newer and less experienced players when they get drawn against more experienced players. Depending on the number of entries, we plan to set up a group-based round robin series of leagues to run over the months of May and June. The winners and runner-up positions of each league will then go forward into the knockout stages to take place over July, August and September.

 

• Potentially, semi-final and final matches will be played “live” on a designated day and followed by a trophy(s) award ceremony.

 

• The draw and group tables will be created in early April with more details on the T&C's once we have the number of entries.
